Thank you for shopping at Smart Generators. Every one of our generators is assembled and tested by our highly trained technicians to insure the highest quality.

SHIPPING POLICY

Once your generator is packaged and ready for shipment, you will receive an email notification including your tracking number. When the generator arrives at the destination terminal you will we contacted by the carrier to schedule a delivery appointment. A signature is required upon delivery. You must be available to inspect the generator and sign for the package. If you are not present for your delivery appointment additional charges will be incurred.

If you are a residential customer requiring a lift gate please choose the lift gate fee option at checkout for $49. If a lift gate was not requested during checkout and requested later on when the carrier calls for your delivery appointment, an additional fee of $150 will be charged.

RETURNS

Your satisfactions with your purchase and experience is of the utmost importance. Please don’t hesitate to contact with questions or concerns and we will work to find a solution to the situation.

Due to the high cost of freight, returns and exchanges are not always possible. Please make sure to read product descriptions, dimensions and shipping policies carefully before completing your purchase.

LOST OR DAMAGED PACKAGES

Each generator is shipped in a heavy duty box strapped to a pallet during transit. Please check the integrity of the contents of the box before signing to receive the generator. We recommend refusing the generator if it has been obviously damaged or tampered with. Once you have signed for and accepted the package, all responsibility is removed from the carrier. If you suspect damage, PLEASE inspect your generator before signing any paperwork.

Smart Generators is not responsible for lost or damaged packages after they have been shipped.

RETURNED PACKAGES

If a package is returned because the buyer provided the wrong address or has not claimed a package after the delivery attempt, a refund will not be issued. The buyer must repay the shipping costs before the generator can be shipped again.

WHEN CAN I EXPECT TO RECEIVE MY GENERATOR?

Your generator will generally ship within 2-5 business days of purchase. Check orders will be shipped once the deposit has been made and the check has cleared. If your generator is back ordered you will receive an email with an estimate of your wait time. You will receive a tracking number once your generator has shipped.
